The whole lion pride is back together — Oregon Zoo keepers introduced the cubs to their father Zawadi Mungu a little over a week ago, and lucky for us, they caught the second meeting on video.

“We were confident that Zawadi would be tolerant of his cubs right away, and we’re glad we were right because the cubs rushed him as soon as they saw him,” said Laura Weiner, senior keeper for the zoo’s Africa section.

Zawadi isn’t as energetic as his cubs, but he participates in the play in his own way.

The lion cubs, Kamali, Zalika and Angalia, were born in September last year. Zawadi and Neka came to the zoo in 2009.
