Myrtle Creek, Ore. — The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is seeking your help in location 78 year-old Vernie Young of Myrtle Creek.

Deputies say they received a report from Young’s daughter that he never returned home Monday after leaving early that morning.

Deputies say Young left his Myrtle Creek home around 3:30am Monday morning driving his maroon 1999 Chrysler 300.

Young is described as 6 foot tall, 180 lbs, grey hair, blue eyes and has an eagle tattoo on his left arm. Young may have been wearing jeans, a plaid shirt and black vest.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office urges anyone with information on Young’s whereabouts to them at (541) 440-4471.
