Grants Pass, Ore. — A Grants Pass man is being charged with attempted murder tonight after allegedly firing his handgun Sunday.

Grants Pass Police say Mike Lairson was walking with his girlfriend into the Del Mar Trailer Park on Rogue River Highway Sunday when he opened fire at Jarrod Miller, his girlfriends ex.

Police say the shots shattered the driver’s side window and mirror of Miller’s car.

Lairson is charged with attempted murder, unlawful use of a weapon and tampering with evidence.
