JOHN DAY Grant Union Junior-Senior High School art students drew Donna Johnsons name as winner of the quilt made by Judy Nelson, with help from Lous Heartfelt Quilting.
The Elk Quilt, as its been called because of its bull elk centerpiece, was one of the fund-raisers for the students big art trip.
Fifteen students and 15 adults left last Thursday for a tour of European art museums.
Grant Union art teacher JJ Collier is leading the group which began the tour in Germany and plans to end in Paris, France, returning home next week.
