Klamath Falls, Ore. — Investigators are looking for the cause of a house fire that sent a Klamath Falls woman to the hospital Thursday night.

The fire broke out just before 6pm at John and Sherrie Gower’s home in the Villa West Mobile Estates.

According to residents Mrs. Gower was in the home at the time of the fire and had to be taken to the hospital. “She’s quadriplegic, she had to have help getting out – and I guess she got a bit injured as they were trying to get her out.” said neighbor Helen Hunter.

Sherrie Gower was treated, and later released. Their pets survived.

Damage to the trailer is estimated at $35-thousand.
