The only commercial air service in Klamath Falls announced Friday that it would be pulling out of the small market.
The Herald and News reports that United Airlines subsidiary SkyWest will end its service to the Crater Lake – Klamath Regional Airport in early June.
SkyWest provided daily service to and from Portland and San Francisco. The company said in a news release that it is stopping service because of the cost and difficulty of staffing flight crews.
The Klamath Falls airport director says the facility will seek other partnerships to provide service.
