JOHN DAY – Volunteers are needed to help with several events coming up at the Grant County Fairgrounds.

Call Mary Weaver, fair manager, at 541-575-1900, if you can help with:

• Serving coffee and tea or serve in the beer garden during the BMW Rally, set for June 20-22.

• Manning the gate at the Bull Riding Champions event, from 6-9 p.m. June 21.

• Gate, information booth, and general set-up for the county fair, Aug. 6-9.

Weaver said the fair is always looking for people interested in working on flower beds, weeding and planting.
