Kristal and Mark Hansen of Canyon City announce the birth of their daughter, Riley Ann Hansen, on July 11 at Blue Mountain Hospital in John Day. She weighed 7 pounds, and was 20 inches long. She joins older sister, Kara Louise, 4.

Grandparents are Darrel and Kathie Holliday of John Day, and Frank and Joanne Hansen of Mt. Vernon. Great-grandparents are Mary Marciel of Mt. Vernon, Earlene Holliday of John Day, and Patricia Mellin Downer of Brooks.
