JOHN DAY – The new county committee looking at public lands access will meet Tuesday evening at The Outpost Restaurant in John Day.

The session starts at 5 p.m., and organizers plan to discuss access issues on the South Fork Complex fire.

Jim Sproul and John Bastian are co-chairs and Judy Kerr is secretary of the new group, which was empaneled by the Grant County Court.
