2nd Pine Fest coming up

Bend-based blues, folk and classic rock band Broken Down Guitars will perform at the second annual Pine Fest Sept. 6 in Halfway.

HALFWAY – The second annual Pine Fest music festival is coming up Saturday, Sept. 6, at the Pine Valley Fairgrounds in Halfway.

Gates open at noon, with music set to rock the fairgrounds from 1-10 p.m.

Scheduled acts include La Grande-based rockers The Alibis, country recording artist and local favorite Brook Faulk, Baker City’s jazzy rockabilly band The Channel Gats, Bend-based jam band Broken Down Guitars, and more.

Admission is $10 at the gate. The first 50 people will receive free T-shirts featuring all new Pine Fest art created by Pine Valley artist Coco Forte.

Food vendors, artists and crafters will be on hand.
