JOHN DAY – Greater Eastern Oregon Development Corp. is holding a series of meetings, including one in John Day, to seek input on draft goals and strategies for economic development in the region.

The agency is conducting a grassroots planning effort that brings together citizens and business, government, and community interests to identify the economic development issues and strategies for sustainable growth.

The John Day meeting will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7, at the Grant County Regional Airport.
