Diners enjoy good food and good company at Blue Mountain Hospital Foundation's Nov. 1 annual meeting, dinner and auction.

JOHN DAY – Cowgirls, cowboys and some Indians donned their best Western garb for Blue Mountain Hospital Foundation’s Nov. 1 annual meeting, dinner and auction.

The “Wild, Wild West” themed event, held at the Grant County Fairgrounds Pavilion, featured several tables filled with silent auction items. Members of 4-H helped serve a brisket dinner prepared by the hospital’s Any Thyme Catering.

Jack Southworth and Gary Miller held a live auction for a few additional goodies, including pies.

Proceeds from this year’s event will help purchase a bone density scanner for the hospital.
