Vickie Larkin, 64, died Nov. 5 at her John Day home, surrounded by family. A celebration of life will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, at the John Day Senior Center, with a potluck to follow.

Mrs. Larkin was born March 5, 1950, in Prairie City, to Marvin and Arlene (Bergstrom) Fleury.

She graduated from Grant Union High School in 1968.

On Nov. 18, 1971, she married Ronald Larkin in John Day.

She enjoyed reading, fishing, hunting, sitting in her yard visiting with family and friends, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Ronald Larkin of John Day; sons, Kelly Larkin of Lincoln, Neb. and Robert Larkin of Prineville; daughter, Brandi Larkin of Prineville; daughter-in-law, Crystal parks of Prineville; granddaughter, Breanna Larkin of Prineville; and grandson, Jesse Paulson of John Day.

She was preceded in death by her parents; mother and father-in-law, John and Helan Larkin; and step mother-in-law, Ellan Larkin.
