Idamae Elizabeth Keohulani Tussing, 95, of Prairie City, died Sept. 3, at Blue Mountain Care Center in Prairie City. A graveside service was held Sept. 11 at Canyon City Cemetery.
Mrs. Tussing was born Aug. 19, 1920, in Hilo, Hawaii, to George Sims and Annie Lindsey. She attended the Kamehameha schools.
In 1959, she married Conklin Wai, and had a son.
Ten years after Conklin’s death in 1965, she met Edward Tussing in Hawaii, while he was there providing relief pharmacy work. They married in 1975, and soon after, she moved to Grant County.
She enjoyed reading, singing, being involved in activities and always enjoyed social occasions.
Survivors include her son, Richard Wai of Aiea, Hawaii; a granddaughter, Shona; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Conklin Wai, and her second husband, Edward Tussing .
