John Day employees recognized for service to city

JOHN DAY — John Day City Council president Steve Schuette presented four city employees with certificates of recognition at the Tuesday, May 10, City Council meeting.
Camillia Haney was awarded for 10 years of dedicated service to the City of John Day 911 Emergency Communications Center.
Don Speakman, also an employee at the 911 Center, was awarded the Golden Stork Award for commendable work in aiding in the emergency delivery of a baby boy on April 20, 2016.
Sergeant Damon Rand was recognized for 10 years of dedicated service to the City of John Day Police Department.
Monte Legg, a public works employee, was awarded for 15 years of dedicated service to the city.
