The Prairie City Panthers celebrate after winning the first set 25-20 over Crane in Friday's homecoming match at the Prairie City court.

Prairie City celebrated homecoming with volleyball and football games against Crane.

The Lady Panthers, led by co-coaches Lance and Louanne Zweygardt, started out strong, winning their first set 25-20. The successful first set was followed with losses of 13-25, 7-25 and 17-25.

Prairie City’s junior varsity football team, led by head coach Darrell McKrola, had a 52-12 win over the Crane Mustangs for homecoming night.
