Philip Stephen Gause, 86, of Mt. Vernon passed away Friday, Oct. 21, in Mt. Vernon. No public services will be held.

Gause was born May 18, 1930, to Francis and Agnus (Morris) Gause in Yakima, Washington.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Gause, of Mt. Vernon, six children and several grandchildren.
