Janczyk sentenced to 30 days in jail, 72 months probation

Raymond Joseph Janczyk will spend a month in jail for theft and forgery.
Janczyk, 47, was sentenced to 30 days in jail, 72 months probation and 60 hours community service. He was fined $750. Janczyk pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree theft, one count of first-degree forgery and one count of fraudulent use of a credit card on July 19.
Janczyk admitted to stealing thousands of dollars from a single victim using checks and credit cards in Grant County in August and September of 2016.
Two counts of first-degree forgery and two counts of first-degree theft were dismissed.
Janczyk was also ordered to have no contact with the victim.
