The Green Thumb Garden Club has announced the 2017 Yard Award winners.

Rod and Ettalu Hendricksen and Colby Bradford and Mikeala Donolue won a ceramic frog.

The frogs were made by Donna Adams and were awarded for having a beautiful yard.

The Green Thumb Garden Club was organized in 1964 and recognizes Prairie City residents for helping keep the community looking proper.

Last year’s winners of the award were Ed and Deeann Negus for their spring lawn and Mary Winegar for her summer lawn.
