James ‘Jim’ Michael Redman Dec. 26, 1944 – Aug. 2, 2017

James “Jim” Michael Redman, 72, died on Wednesday, Aug. 2, at a cabin on McGregor Lake surrounded by family.
Redman was born on Dec. 26, 1944, in Enterprise to Jim and Marge Redman. He graduated from Grant Union High School in John Day. He started working for Pacific Power in 1965 as a meter reader, then apprentice lineman, journeyman lineman and into management in 1980 in Libby, Montana. He married Kathleen “Kippy” in Libby, Montana, Sept. 9, 1989. He retired from Flathead Electric Co-Op in 2001, and the couple began traveling the world and filling their days with friends and family.
Redman is survived by his wife Kathleen “Kippy”; sister Lynn Wagner; son Jimmy Redman; son David Redman; son Sean Rumelhart; daughter Shannon Mckeon; son Ryan Rumelhart; daughter Erin Rumelhart; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
