The Ukiah/Long Creek girls won their last three volleyball matches of the season.

The Cougar/Mountaineers defeated the Harper Hornets on Oct. 12 in Huntington in three sets, 28-26, 25-11 and 25-20.

The team then defeated the Huntington Locomotives in four sets, 18-25, 25-10, 25-9 and 25-15.

The girls traveled to Unity on Oct. 18 where they defeated Burnt River in three sets, 25-13, 25-17 and 25-22.

“The girls played very well together and had excellent attitudes,” Coach Linda Studtmann said. “I’ve enjoyed being their coach this year, alongside Reagan Enriquez.”
