All who submitted applications for the Morrow/Grant County OHV Park Special Youth Spike Only 2nd Season Elk Hunt were successful this year.
The program has been active for several years as way to give back to the Morrow and Grant County residents and encourage family youth activities and education outdoors. The goal is to have equal numbers from Morrow and Grant County, but often not enough apply to meet this goal. Rather than leave those spots unfilled, remaining applicants are chosen.
All successful applicants are required to purchase any and all licenses, tags and items necessary for this hunt, Morrow and Grant County OHV Park only provides access to the hunting area for the youth. All successful applicants will receive a hunting packet containing identification, passes and maps. These items help identify them as those that are permitted to hunt on the property.
Participants this year include Logan Namitz from Grant County and Preslie Bowles, Jonathan Brannon, Kaden Combe, Tiffany Hollis and ZaBrena Masterson from Morrow County.
