A counselor with Community Counseling Solutions is under investigation for inappropriate behavior with a minor

“We take any allegation of inappropriate behavior toward our clients and staff very seriously,” said Lindsay.
Lindsay said the counselor worked in the Dayville and Long Creek school districts.
Long Creek School District Superintendent Karl Coghill said the Oregon State Police notified him of an investigation.

Lindsay said that she could not confirm whether or not the counselor had other students in Grant County on his caseload.
“We have been informed by the state police of an ongoing investigation of one of our providers,” Coghill said.

Marquez said the investigation is ongoing and a story would hurt it, but he said “it is a free country.”
Marquez could not give a timeline or say much else.
Call Marquez next week, either Monday or after the paper is finished Tuesday and ask, “is the investigation of Brent Labhart still ongoing.”
