Mary Ellen Brooks, 84, of Mt. Vernon passed away on Friday, May 20, at her residence. A graveside ceremony, with vault interment, will be held on Friday, June 3, at 1 p.m. at the Canyon City Cemetery followed by a memorial service at the Grant County Fairgrounds Pavilion beginning at 2:30 p.m. with Mitch Mund officiating.
