WILSONVILLE — The Oregon School Activities Association is recruiting officials for fall sports.

There is an immediate need for officials in football, volleyball and soccer, according to an OSAA news release.

To register to be an official online, go to www.osaa.org/officials. You can visit www.newofficials.com to find the nearest officials association.

The benefits of becoming a high school official include staying involved in athletics, maintaining good physical condition and earning money, the news release said. You can visit https://tinyurl.com/28nmcbzc for official pay scales during the 2022-2023 season.

“Oregon has an urgent need for officials in all sports,” OSAA Executive Director Jack Folliard said. “Officials provide valuable service to high schools and students, make a positive impact in the community and build relationships.”

The registration period for football, volleyball and soccer ends on Sept. 30.
