Daniel Caleb Crist, 18, passed away in a single-person automobile accident on July 15, just north of Long Creek. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 22, at 11 a.m. at the Faith Lutheran Church in La Grande, with Pastor Sam Wiesman officiating.

A reception will follow immediately afterward at the church fellowship hall. Vault interment, with full military honors, will take place the same day at 2 p.m. at the Haines Cemetery in Haines.
