A highly-anticipated Jets debut took an abrupt detour for Aaron Rodgers on Monday Night Football after the star quarterback exited in the first quarter due to injury.

Rodgers, 39, suffered an apparent lower body injury on the fourth play of New York’s first drive of the night after getting sack by Bills pass rusher Leonard Floyd at the 11:40 mark.

After hobbling upon standing to his feet, Rodgers was helped to the Jets sideline for an evaluation. Backup QB Zach Wilson filled in for Rodgers to finish the drive.

The Jets later brought out a cart to take Rodgers to the locker room. His status remains unknown at this time.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
