Sponsored by Monument School, this event is a fundraiser for the school’s Flying Tiger Club. The cost to participate is $3 a round. There will also be a punkin’ chunkin’ shoot; the entry fee for that is a pumpkin. Halloween costumes welcome. A pulled pork lunch will be available for purchase. Haunted house and Halloween party

The John Day Elks Lodge sponsors a free haunted house and halloween party with something for all ages. From 6 to 11 p.m., it’s time for the grownups to cut loose with a scarier haunted house, music supplied by a DJ, an adult costume contest with cash prizes and special “witches’ brew” available on request.

Costume Crawl
