Circuit Court
The Grant County Circuit Court reported the following activity for the week ending Nov. 1:
Oct. 30
Raymond Rho Capon, 45, of Baker City, pleaded no contest to a count of forgery in the first degree, a Class C felony, committed on Feb. 20. He was sentenced to supervised probation for 18 months and was ordered to complete 40 hours of community service or county work crew, have no contact with the victim, and pay a fine of $250.
Oct. 31
Austin Catron, 21, of Prineville, was convicted of probation violation by committing a new crime, failing to complete the Victim Impact Panel Program, failure to engage with alcohol/drug screening specialists, failure to perform community service and failure to pay as agreed. He was ordered to serve 60 days in jail.
