Circuit Court

The Grant County Circuit Court reported the following activity for the week ending Nov. 22:

Nov. 21

Lauren Hope Miller, 21, of Watterville, Washington, pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor count of harassment constituting domestic violence, committed on Feb. 25. She was sentenced to non-probation conditions probation for a period of 180 days and ordered to pay $100 in district attorney diversion fees.

Austin J. Cates, 19, of Canyon City was found to be in violation of probation imposed on him for two Class A misdemeanors and a Class B violation, all of which occurred on March 7. His sentence is continued with the same terms and conditions as previously imposed.

3:58 p.m.: Advised of a report of theft at Len’s Pharmacy in John Day. Staci Hoffman, 32, of John Day was arrested for theft.

5:24 p.m.: Warrant service on North Humbolt Street in Canyon City. Steven Warrington, 34, of Canyon City was arrested on a warrant.
