Letter: In appreciation of news in print

To the Editor:
An advertisement in last week’s Blue Mountain Eagle in regard to its circulation prompted me to write to you.
Recently I spoke to a grandmother who has a grandson attending a college in Mississippi who has aspirations of becoming a sportswriter. I was able to brag about the sports columns in the Eagle. It has proven time and again to project good journalism.
With hard copy news, I was able to quickly have references to convey information to her.
Not only that, they (hard copies) are easier on the eyes and neck, not to mention you can read it in “snatches” while stirring up the Christmas pie.
Thank you for your delightful paper.
