To the Editor:

I was disappointed and shocked by the way the Eagle handled the information (news) regarding the sale of Ruth Harris’s property to the People Mover. Ruth did so many positive things for our community. The photos of the inside of her home were completely unnecessary and irrelevant to the purpose of the article, which was, in my mind, to let us know the status and the future of the property. A short article would have been sufficient to accomplish that.

I would hope the local paper would not be following the path of the National Enquirer. Certainly citizens of our community should not have to live in fear that our personal “past” housekeeping situations (no matter how extreme they may be) will come back to haunt us in the bowels of the Blue Mountain Eagle.
