Letter: What would a jury think of recall?

To the Editor:
Voters in a recall election might want to think of themselves like jurors in a legal proceeding.
In a normal election, voters can pick and choose candidates for the simplest of reasons without fault. But in a recall election, an elected official stands accused of alleged unethical or perhaps illegal behavior.
A juror in a properly conducted legal proceeding can expect to see solid detailed evidence and arguments explaining the who, what, where, when, how and why of each side’s argument.
If voters in a recall election are not presented with such evidence and arguments, then perhaps they should ask themselves — what would I do if I was a juror?
