JOHN DAY — Everyone could use a little more kindness in their life.

That’s the premise behind the Blue Mountain Healthcare Foundation’s Brew Haha fundraiser set for 5 p.m. Saturday, which just happens to be Random Acts of Kindness Day. The event will be held in the Trowbridge Pavilion at the Grant County Fairgrounds, 411 NW Bridge St., John Day.

Proceeds will go to pay bills or provide other services for selected Grant County residents.

Tickets are $50 and include a dinner of pork ribs by Lenny Dowdy and sides by the Snaffle Bit Dinner House, with one beer or cocktail and door prize tickets. There will also be live and silent auctions.
