JOHN DAY — The Grant County Family Heritage Foundation will hold a benefit dinner and auction at the Grant County Fairgrounds Trowbridge Pavilion on Feb. 24, 2004.
Funds raised are intended to help purchase new swine pens for the fair, according to officials.
The event will feature a dessert auction, a silent auction and a live auction. The meal will be prepared by Todd Donahue and Jackie Osborne.
“This is the first time we’ve done a dinner and auction,” said foundation President Cori Anderson. “We know Grant County is very supportive, and we thought the dinner and auction would be a good way to raise quite a bit of funds.”
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., with dinner at 6 p.m. and a live auction at 7 p.m.
The cost of dinner is $20 for adults or $10 for children 12 and under.
Donations for the auction are due by Feb. 20. To make a donation, call Anderson at 541-377-3347 or Stephanie Williams at 541-792-0208.
