Hunter rep needed for Oregon Access and Habitat Board

SALEM — The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife is looking for a hunter representative to serve on the Access and Habitat Board.
The board consists of three hunter representatives, three landowner representatives and a chair who review and recommend wildlife habitat improvement projects and hunter access projects to the Oregon Fish and Wildlife Commission.
Members are appointed to four-year terms and meet four times a year in various communities throughout the state to review funding applications and hear public testimony.
Hunter representatives are expected to ensure the concerns of the hunting community are addressed by the board. People with experience in hunting and wildlife conservation are encouraged to apply.
