Circuit court
April 1
Christopher McLanahan of John Day pleaded guilty to a single charge of criminal mischief in the second degree, a class A misdemeanor committed on Oct. 28, 2023. He was sentenced to 18 months of bench probation with the following terms: complete 60 hours of community service or work crew, obtain a mental health evaluation and complete any recommended treatment program, and complete a Moral Reconation Therapy program.
Ronald L. McNurlin of Mt. Vernon was convicted of a probation violation for failing to complete a treatment program. He was sentenced to 20 hours of additional community service, ordered to undergo a drug evaluation within 30 days and complete treatment as directed by the treatment provider. His probation was extended for 18 months.
Laura Lynn Bacheller of Prairie City was convicted of probation violation due to the use of intoxicants. She was ordered to complete 10 hours of additional community service.
