Charlene Margaret Gardner, 84, of Canyon City, passed away on June 7, 2024, at her residence. A rosary vigil will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 13, at Driskill Memorial Chapel in John Day. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, June 14, at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church in John Day, with Father Christie Tissera presiding, with a committal service following at St. Andrews Catholic Cemetery in Canyon City. Friends are invited to join the family at the St. Elizabeth parish hall following the service.
