JOHN DAY — Grant County Emergency Management has issued a Level 3 — GO NOW evacuation notice for all for northwest Grant County to Highway 19 and 402, East to Monument and north to the Middle Fork of the John Day River due to fire activity in Northern Grant county.

The Boneyard Fire started on Wednesday, July 17 just over 10 miles north of Monument. The fire is 7,000 acres and 0% contained according to inciweb.
