GO NOW evacuation notices in effect near Monument

MONUMENT — Due to fire activity south of Monument,
Media Release, new evacuation notices were announced at 3:30 p.m. Monday, July 22.
The following areas have new evacuation notices:
• All of Rudio Rd is now in LEVEL 3 – GO NOW
• All of Cottonwood Rd is now in LEVEL 3 – GO NOW
• All of Courtrock Rd is now in LEVEL 3 – GO NOW
• All of Lost Hubcap Rd is now in LEVEL 3 – GO NOW
The evacuations in the vicinity of the Boneyard and Monkey Creek fires were announced by the Grant County Emergency Management Office.
A Red Cross shelter is in open 24 hours at the Grant Union HS, 911 S Canyon Blvd., John Day.
