To the Editor:

I heard someone coin the phrase “everything speaks” years ago. People notice if your yard is mowed, your car is shiny, or your dog barks too much! That is, unless they are on their phone or texting.

We are all aware of the upcoming election. Will we vote for a reversal of the current policies that have caused our everything to rise in cost, or bring real hope and a return to ones that were proven to work?

For myself, I will always go for common sense. If we keep letting those who say one thing but do another, then really who is to blame? I’ve never kept a dog who bit me, nor a horse who threw me. Lessons learned!

Pray for our nation! Pray for the wisdom to vote for the ones who will work for the people. Honor those who have fought and some, paid a dear price, for the freedoms we have enjoyed.
