To the Editor:

Jim Hamsher has my full endorsement for county judge. Having personally known him for many years, I can vouch for his unwavering dedication to Grant County and his exceptional leadership, making him the ideal candidate for this position.

As someone whose family roots in Grant County go back to my great-great-grandparents, I’m committed to supporting a leader who honors our history while guiding us into the future. Jim Hamsher is that leader. He is devoted to preserving our past while ensuring a fiscally strong future. He’s a true statesman, a man of integrity, and a good-hearted cowboy.

Great leaders prioritize what’s best for the community over personal gain, outside interests, or popularity. Jim exemplifies this. He has volunteered tens of thousands of hours beyond his official duties, thoroughly studying issues and working with local, state, and federal leaders to make well-informed decisions that benefit Grant County. I am confident he will continue to lead with honesty and a relentless passion for improving our county.

Jim’s dedication is evident in his actions. He’s always stepped up when the county needed him — whether securing millions in funding, delivering over a thousand tons of hay to cattle ranchers during the Canyon Creek Complex Fire, overseeing critical water and sewer projects or, most recently, responding to the catastrophic summer fires. Jim attended fire meetings across the county, communicated with residents, and dedicated himself fully to ensuring our communities were informed and supported during the crisis. His work ethic, fiscal responsibility, and understanding of our needs align with the values I hold dear.

Jim also believes in keeping the American Dream alive, ensuring future generations have the same opportunities to live, work, and raise their families here in Grant County. His leadership will continue to promote a place where hard work is rewarded, local businesses thrive, and everyone has a fair shot at success.

I strongly urge you to vote for Jim Hamsher by Nov. 5. I am confident he will continue making a positive impact and working for the betterment of our county. Let’s unite in electing Jim Hamsher as our next Grant County judge.
