DAYVILLE — As containment expands on the Rail Ridge Fire, the Grant County Emergency Management Office continues to roll back evacuation advisories.

The Level 1 evacuation zone south of Highway 26, between Fields Creek and Moon Creek, has been removed, county emergency management officials announced on Wednesday, Oct. 2.

The Rail Ridge Fire south of Dayville covers an estimated 166,500 acres and is 83% contained, according to fire managers.
