To the Editor:
To the people of Grant County, I am writing once again to support my friend and former colleague Mark Webb.
My name is Boyd Britton and I am a retired four-term Grant County commissioner. I have served with both Judge Webb and his opponent. That gives me a unique insight and perspective on both men. Mr. Hamsher is a nice man that seems to have a good heart. Judge Webb is a good man that I know for a fact has a heart for the benefit of the people of Grant County.
He is fiscally conservative, extremely bright and articulate — that, even his detractors will acknowledge. Mark’s experience and, perhaps just as important, his vision for Grant County make him the best choice for county judge for the betterment of Grant County.
My wife and I have been gone from the area for a little better than six years, but I have a great deal of affection for Grant County and I wish the very best for its citizens.
My time serving with Mark showed me his abilities in advocating and supporting Grant County across the state and nationally. He stands up and pushes back when those agencies act in ways detrimental to Grant County.
He is respected and, most of all, listened to.
For the future of Grant County, please cast your vote for my friend Mark Webb.
Boyd Britton
