CANYON CITY — The following information was taken from official records of the Grant County Circuit Court:

Jan. 6

Jodi Lee Macy, 43, of John Day, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of intoxicants and driving uninsured, both misdemeanors committed on June 15. Additional charges of failure to install an ignition interlock device and operating a vehicle without driving privileges were dismissed. She was fined $2,265, placed on bench probation for three years and given a three-year driver’s license suspension. 

Macy was ordered to serve 75 days under house arrest, with the use of an ankle monitor. She may receive credit for time served and is allowed to leave her house for two hours during the week to go to the grocery store, pharmacy or post office, using public transportation. She is also allowed to go to work at scheduled times.

In addition, Macy was ordered to perform 40 hours of community service or work crew time, complete the Victim Impact Panel Program, obtain a substance abuse assessment and complete all recommended treatment, stay out of bars, refrain from using intoxicants and install an ignition interlock device on her vehicle.
