PENDLETON — Oregon’s senior U.S. senator announced several upcoming town halls, including April 23 in Umatilla County and April 24 in Grant County.
They are two of seven town halls Wyden is holding April 23-26.
Wyden’s Umatilla County town hall begins at 6 p.m. at Pendleton High School, 1800 NW Carden Ave.
The Grant County event starts at 12:30 p.m. at Grant County Regional Airport, 72000 Airport Road, John Day.
“I promised Oregonians in every nook and cranny of our state that I would always make myself available to answer questions and hear their concerns and opinions,” Wyden said in the announcement. “That in-person connection has always been essential, and it’s more crucial than ever now during these unprecedented challenges to continue those direct conversations so all parts of Oregon are heard.”
Wyden’s other town halls are on April 23 in The Dalles, April 24 in Burns, April 25 in Lakeview and April 26 in Klamath Falls and Roseburg.
Although these were the largest venues available for these town halls on these dates, space may still be limited. Doors will open one hour before the town hall start times for attendees. For everyone’s security, backpacks and large bags will not be allowed in the town hall.
