Obituaries: Patricia Eileen Henry

Patricia Eileen Henry of John Day died Wednesday, July 26, 2006, at her home.-She was 56.

A funeral service was held July 28, 2006, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in John Day, with Bishop Gary Delaney officiating.-Interment was held at the Elgin Cemetery.

-Mrs. Henry was born Oct. 14, 1949, in Nampa, Idaho, to Ralph Richard and Thelma Jane Miller.-She attended and graduated from Valivue High School in Nampa, Idaho.-She married Ken Henry on March 27, 1970, in Logan, Utah. They had five children. She worked in the Grant County 4-H office as an assistant.-

-Mrs. Henry enjoyed knitting, gardening, photography and baking.- She was an active member in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.-She served in various callings, including teaching seminary.-She was an accomplished pianist and organist, and she loved to knit booties for the newborns at Blue Mountain Hospital.

-She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Ken, of John Day; daughter, Kristal Peck, and her husband, Chris, of Highland, Utah; son, Duane Henry, and his wife, Joan, of John Day; son, Kevin, and his wife, Lisa, of Lehi, Utah; daughter, Ami Silva, and her husband, Fernando, of Springville, Utah; daughter, Heidi Mullin, and her husband, Loren, of Las Vegas, Nev.; parents, Richard and Thelma Miller, of Nampa, Idaho; and 15 grandchildren.
