To the Editor:

The Gospel of Climate Change proceeds as follows: First, you must condemn your parents and grandparents for ruining the planet prior to your birth, thereby assigning original sin and establishing your status as a victim. Next, you appoint yourself as a Christ-like savior and vow to heal the earth as an eco-warrior. Thereafter your peers, instructors and employers embrace you warmly and welcome you into a circle of like-minded narcissists. Anyone who doubts the gospel is summarily shunned and loudly berated as a blasphemous heretic.

As a result, modern America is now filled with generations of angry, self-serving, narrow-minded sycophants who, ironically, detest traditional religion while bathing in the identical faith-based structure they claim to despise.
