What things have been the biggest reward for you since starting the challenge?

Seeing my team’s name in the paper every week and being proud of my teammates.

What has been a positive change in your life since starting the challenge?

I was starving for the first few days of my reduced diet but after a week of diet change I was not hungry.

What have you struggled most with?

Beer…. I cannot give up beer. But I still have lost over 20 lbs.

A lot of people have hit a plateau, what are you doing to keep motivated?

I am luckier than most of the other contestants. I still have some spare tire left on my belly to lose for the last half of this contest.

What has helped you keep on track so far?

Being in a contest and having to weigh in every week really motivates you not to let everyone else down.

Are you happy to still be in the challenge?

Yes. I honestly didn’t think losing weight would be this easy.

What are your plans for the final part of the challenge?

Eating. But sticking to the foods I like that are on the lower half of the glycemic index list.
