New fire sparks road closure

GRANT COUNTY — A new fire start south of the Middle Fork and north of Highway 26 which has been named the Whiskey Fire, Forest Service Road 36 at Middle Fork Road south to Four Corners will be closed according to a Facebook post from Grant County Emergency Management.
The Whiskey fire was reported on July 21 and has grown from 10 acres to 1,408 acres. For the latest fire and evacuation information, follow the Grant County Emergency Management Facebook page.
